What StartVitals does differently
Most battery articles explain one voltage at a time. StartVitals asks for the same evidence in the order a useful electrical screen needs it: resting charge, cranking behavior, running charging support and electrical load.
The result does not claim certainty. It tells the user which confirming test has the highest value before a battery, starter or alternator is purchased.

How the guidance is documented
StartVitals publishes the screening thresholds, decision order, source links and known limitations on the methodology page. The website does not claim a vehicle inspection, manufacturer approval, technician certification or a replacement diagnosis from voltage alone.
How the website is funded
StartVitals is free to use. The site may display clearly labeled advertising after approval by an advertising provider. Advertising does not change diagnostic thresholds, and advertisers do not receive the voltage readings entered into the tool.
