Educational information

StartVitals provides general educational information based on values entered by the user. It does not inspect the vehicle, verify meter accuracy or account for every vehicle design, environmental condition or prior repair.

No professional diagnosis

Results are screening indications, not a definitive diagnosis, repair order, safety certification or warranty decision. A qualified technician with vehicle-specific service information and appropriate equipment must confirm faults.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for following the owner’s manual, battery label, meter instructions and applicable safety rules. Do not perform a step you cannot complete safely. Stop for damaged batteries, smoke, fuel odor, exposed wiring, unstable vehicle support or hybrid/EV high-voltage systems.

No replacement guarantee

StartVitals intentionally avoids guaranteeing that a battery, alternator, starter or other component should be replaced. Measurements can be affected by temperature, battery chemistry, state of charge, smart charging, connection quality and meter performance.

Availability and changes

The website is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Content and decision thresholds may be updated as guidance and vehicle technology change.
